
Sally Benson (September 3, 1897, St. Louis, Missouri – July 19, 1972, Los Angeles, California) was an American screen and short story writer.
She began her career writing articles and film reviews for the New York Morning Telegraph. Two of her short stories, Junior Miss (1945) and Meet Me in St. Louis (1944), were made into films. She died in Los Angeles, California, aged 74.
