Timewatch is a long-running British television series showing documentaries on historical subjects, spanning all human history. Produced by the BBC, the Timewatch brandname is used as a banner title in the UK, but many of the individual documentaries can be found on US cable channels (like Discovery Times or The History Channel International) without the branding.
The 2008 season includes programmes on Stonehenge, Britain's Forgotten Floods, Boxer Rebellion, Young Victoria, the Last Day of World War One.
The 2006 season included programmes on Genghis Khan, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, SOE agent Noor Inayat Khan, The Warsaw Uprising of 1944, and the Gunpowder Plot.
