本科學校 （简体）
本科學校是一類高等教育的學校，高於專科學校。常說的大學有時候指本科和專科學校，有時候只指代本科學校。
起點為高中畢業或同等學歷，在教育上並重通識教育和專業教育，常見學制4年，工程、醫學等專業可為5年甚至更長，畢業生一般獲各種學士學位。（北京協和醫學院目前為8年本科學制，但授予博士學位）。
