黄酮类物质Flavonoid)是一群来自于水果、蔬菜、茶、葡萄酒、种子或是植物根的一群化合物。虽然他们不被认为是维生素,但是在生物体内的反应里,被认为有营养功能:例如像是抗氧化等或是具有一些抗发炎反应功效。也被认为有抵抗或是减缓肿瘤的形成。

可可亚,特别是一些黑巧克力,内含Flavones Epicatechin成分,其抗氧化能力是红葡萄酒或是绿茶的二到三倍。Epicatechin也促进血液循环,也被认为有助于对于心脏血管健康。


黄酮类一般被分成五个次群组。

  • Flavonols: Quercetin, Kaempferol, Myricetin, Isorhamnetin
  • Flavones: Luteolin, Apigenin
  • Flavanones: Hesperetin, Naringenin, Eriodictyol
  • Flavan-3-ols: (+)-Catechin, (+)-Gallocatechin, (-)-Epicatechin, (-)-*Epigallocatechin, (-)-Epicatechin 3-gallate, (-)-Epigallocatechin 3-gallate, Theaflavin, Theaflavin 3-gallate, Theaflavin 3'-gallate, Theaflavin 3,3' digallate, Thearubigins
  • Anthocyanidins: Cyanidin, Delphinidin, Malvidin, Pelargonidin, Peonidin, Petunidin
